ECTS SYSTEM

The European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) is fully implemented at the College to ensure transparency and academic recognition of studies both nationally and across Europe.

What Is ECTS?

ECTS credits are awarded upon the successful completion of each course and reflect the student workload required to achieve specific learning outcomes. These outcomes include what the student is expected to know, understand, and be able to do after completing a course or program.

What Does Workload Include?

Workload includes more than classroom hours. It also encompasses:

  • Lectures & Seminars
  • Practical Training & Labs
  • Independent Study & Homework
  • Assignments & Projects
  • Continuous Assessments & Final Exams

Each 1 ECTS credit corresponds to approximately 25–30 hours of total workload.

ECTS & Erasmus+ Mobility

The College guarantees full and automatic recognition of ECTS credits earned during an Erasmus+ mobility period, provided that:

  • A Learning Agreement is signed by all parties before the mobility begins
  • The activities are completed successfully and confirmed in the Transcript of Records or Traineeship Certificate

Credits are:

  • Recorded transparently, including the original course titles (in English and the host language)
  • Transferred without delay or additional assessment
  • Counted toward the student's degree as an integral part of the curriculum
